Last night the cat spent the entire night between the inner and outer doors. We have no idea how this happened - our best guess is that she was outside when we went to bed, and she clawed her way through a small gap in the frame. The other hypothesis, that a "good Samaritan" opened the door for her actually lowers my opinion of humanity - why would you think that a cat would rather be in a tiny warm space than in a big cold one?

When we left the house this morning, there was something unspeakable on the doorstep, covered with splinters clawed from the door. I accept this as our due.

Short entry today. I'm still struggling to document last weekend in a thorough and amusing manner, which drastically reduces my time to think and write about today.

Just so you know, today I spent close to 6 hours in overdrive, working hard on website 'corrections' that I should have figured out a long time ago. Oh well. At least I get to goof off tomorrow.
